Four people are facing impaired driving charges after being stopped by the Halton Police last week.
Three of the cases involve Milton:
On February 17, just after 9:30 p.m., Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Derry Road and Thompson Road in Milton. As a result of an investigation, a 34-year-old Mississauga woman was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
On February 17, just after 11:30 p.m., Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of North Service Road and Appleby Line in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, a 53-year-old Milton man was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
On February 18, just after 10:30 a.m., Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Whitmer Street and Main Street West in Milton. As a result of an investigation, a 53-year-old Milton resident was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
Remember, driving under the influence is considered a crime in progress. Call 9-1-1 immediately if you suspect that someone on the road is driving impaired.
