A Brampton resident is now facing arson charges after attempting to throw a ‘Molotov Cocktail’ at an Oakville address back in December 2020.
The incendiary device was targeting an address on Bonney Meadow Road. It’s not specified what the address is, or whether it’s a building or not. An investigation found that the suspect attempted to throw the flaming bottle. When it was unsuccessful, they fled the area.
On Monday, February 8th, 24-year-old Sem Golov was arrested and charged with the following:
- Arson
- Breach of Weapons Prohibition Order (2 counts)
The investigation revealed this was a targeted incident.
