The latest edition of ‘This Week in Milton’ is now available.
Friday’s guest was Town Councillor for Milton’s Ward 4 Sameera Ali.
Regarding a report that the City of Woodstock wants the CN Intermodal Hub, she hopes CN considers the offer.
She understands the value of an Intermodal Hub, but she doesn’t want it along Tremaine Road next to so many residents and facilities.
Councillor Ali also speaks on the Town of Milton and Milton Fire Department’s latest ice safety campaign. She says residents need to follow the Town’s latest ice safety campaign and stay off local retention ponds.
Also discussed during Episode 32 of ‘This Week in Milton’ was the Black History Month proclamation by the Town of Milton and Milton Mayor Gordon Krantz. She also provided a preview for Monday night’s Town Council meeting.
