A Burlington resident has won $58,691.50.
Michael Lyons won the money playing the OLG game POOLS. The 58-year-old investment advisor says he plays the games regularly, and even will try LOTTO MAX or LOTTO 6/49 if the jackpot is high enough. He was a little anxious on game day.
“I watched the games on Sunday, so I knew I was winning and had a chance at something bigger.”
He says that he doesn’t have a plan for the money just yet.
Lyons is the second Halton resident this month to win through POOLS.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Longo’s on Walkers Line in Burlington.
