There a lot of people facing impaired driving charges from the Halton Police.
11 people were charged over the weekend – one of the cases involved Milton.
On Friday, January 22nd, just after 2:30 p.m., Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of No.10 Sideroad and Guelph Line in Milton. As a result of an investigation, a 28-year old Mississauga resident was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
Remember, driving under the influence is considered a crime in progress. Call 9-1-1 immediately if you suspect that someone on the road is driving impaired.
