Seven people are facing impaired driving charges after being stopped in Halton on the weekend.
One of the seven cases involves Milton:
On Sunday, January 17th, just after 7:00 p.m., Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of 25 Side Road and First Nassagaweya Line in Milton. As a result of an investigation, a 57-year old Fergus resident was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
Remember, driving under the influence is considered a crime in progress. Call 9-1-1 immediately if you suspect that someone on the road is driving impaired.
