The Halton Regional Service honoured Detective Constable Michael Tidball on Thursday.
Tidball died on-duty last week due to what was called “an acute medical episode” by the Halton Police.
A ceremony was held for the officer. In a tweet, the HRPS says Tidball “truly led a life of service and purpose.” It adds that its officers “will forever remember all he did to support our community and to make the world a better place.”
