An ongoing police investigation is happening in the area of Sixth Line and Ridge Drive in Oakville.
The Halton Regional Police Service says that a body has been found. Officers are currently working on identifying the person. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the situation is also underway, according to a tweet by the Halton Police.
On January 1st, 31-year old Michael Stone was last seen in the area of Queens Avenue in Oakville – just a few blocks away from where the body was found. Stone has reportedly been found with no confirmation of his safety. It is unconfirmed if the two cases are related.
