Two Milton residents are facing impaired driving charges.
The cases happened just before Christmas.
On December 22nd, just before 4:00 p.m., Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Bronte Street South and Louis St. Laurent Avenue in Milton. As a result of an investigation, a 48-year old Milton resident was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
On December 22nd, just after 10:00 p.m., Halton Police officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. initiative in the area of Main Street and Ontario Street in Milton. As a result of this initiative, a 44-year old Milton resident was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
Remember, driving under the influence is considered a crime in progress. Call 911 immediately if you suspect someone of driving impaired.
