Halton is now at 90 deaths from COVID-19.
The death appears to be a Burlington resident as the city now has 22 reported deaths from the virus. Oakville has the most deaths in the region with 33. Milton has 21. Halton Hills has 14.
Outbreak across Milton are continuing.
Since November 13th, Allendale has had 83 reported cases. 57 have been residents, 11 have been staff members, three are not yet specified, and 12 are ‘non-Halton’ cases.
Since December 12th, the Milton District Hospital has reported seven cases. Five have been residents and two are ‘non-Halton’ cases.
Since December 14th, Martindale has reported four cases. One is a staff member, one is not specified, and two are ‘non-Halton’ cases.
Since December 16th, Revera Birkdale Place has reported five cases. All five are unspecified at the moment.
Across Halton, there are 58 new cases. The total is now 4837 cases. With 4348 resolved cases and 90 deaths, Halton is now at 399 active cases – seven less than yesterday.
In Milton, we have 11 new cases. The total is 1463 cases. With 1319 resolved cases and 21 deaths, Milton is now at 123 active cases – nine less than yesterday.
