A Canadian Paralympian is in a Christmas movie for the Hallmark Channel.
‘Swept Up by Christmas’ was shot in Montreal and stars Josh Cassidy. He’s from Port Elgin but currently lives in Guelph. He tells us a little bit about the film.
His co-star is Halton’s Lindy Booth.
Cassidy says the film was shot in Montreal during the pandemic. He feels that even with the restrictions, the team did a fantastic job at keeping everyone safe.
It’s a different kind of spotlight for Cassidy; however, he feels there are some comparisons between sports and movies.
‘Swept Up by Christmas’ airs on the Hallmark Channel December 19th, and comes with the typical romantic storylines that you’re used to from a Hallmark movie.
