Halton Mayors have sent a letter to the Federal Government demanding action on the possible CN Intermodal Hub.
This comes after pledge made by the Feds during a recent throne speech to “put the health of Canadians first.”
On the latest episode of This Week in Milton, Town Councillor Sameera Ali says the Hub is not welcome in our town.
In the statement, Halton’s Mayors list off a number of reasons why the CN Intermodal Hub should be denied, including “The project would expose Halton residents to PM 2.5, which is ‘inherently dangerous and unsafe at any level of exposure’.”
