Two people were found driving impaired in Milton over the weekend.
On November 27th, just before 11:30 p.m., Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Derry Road and Eighth Line in Milton. As a result of an investigation, a 35-year old Milton resident was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
On November 28th, just before 6:00 p.m., Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Regional Road 25 and James Snow Parkway North in Milton. As a result of an investigation, a 36-year old Mississauga resident was charged with operation while impaired and failure or refusal to comply with demand.
There were eight cases across all of Halton.
Remember, driving under the influence is considered a crime in progress. Call 9-1-1 immediately if you suspect that someone is driving impaired.
