The Halton Police has released the latest list of impaired drivers.
Last weekend, there were five impaired drivers in the region – two of the cases involved Milton.
On Friday, November 20th, just before 12:30 p.m., Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Steeles Avenue East and Ontario Street North in Milton. As a result of an investigation, a 34-year old Rockwood resident was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
On Sunday, November 22nd, just before 2:30 a.m., Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Sauve Street and Derry Road in Milton. As a result of an investigation, a 47-year old Milton resident was charged with operation while impaired.
Remember, driving under the influence is considered a crime in progress. Call 9-1-1 immediately if you suspect that someone is driving impaired.
The Halton Police says its officers remain committed to road safety through prevention, education, and enforcement initiatives.
