Cycling Canada is announcing its 2021 NextGen Athletes.
47 athletes from across Canada made the list. That includes Milton’s own Madison Dempster. She will be a part of the Track – Spring program next year.
Cycling Canada’s NextGen Lead Coach, Jenny Trew, is excited to see the depth of talent on this year’s list.
“As we start this quad with enhanced NextGen programs, we are already setting considerable goals with the aim of achieving medal success in Paris. Our athletes, coaches and staff are excited and motivated for the opportunities that lie ahead.”
Also on the list is Oakville’s Andrew Scott. He will be a part of the Track – Sprint program as well.
The programs will be training the athletes to hopefully qualify for the 2024 Olympics and Paralympic Games in Paris.
