You can ‘Catch the Ace’ and win two major jackpots!
The Townsend Smith Hospice Foundation is running a progressive raffle.
The Foundation’s Director of Development, Kate Holmes, explains what that means.
Traditionally, in other markets, Catch the Ace is done weekly during public events. Residents would get together and head to a local bar, restaurant or Legion branch and watch the live draw.
Holmes says that with COVID-19, this event is being done entirely online.
As she mentions, the draw will be every Monday at noon. The longer the draw goes without a winner, the higher the jackpot gets, and the more money will be donated to the Townsend Smith Foundation to help bring a hospice to North Halton.
The idea of the ‘Catch the Ace’ draw was spurred by Laurie Day, who is also the sponsor for the event. Her and Holmes are confident in Milton and Halton residents to get involved and help make the most of the draw.
