The latest list of impaired drivers in the Halton region is now available.
Last weekend, there were five cases of impaired driving across Halton. Three cases involved Milton.
Just before 11:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6th, a 40-year old Mississauga resident was stopped in the area of Main Street East and Thompson Road in Milton. They were charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
On Sunday, November 8th, just after 7:30 a.m., Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Fourth Line Nassagaweya and 20 Side Road in Milton. As a result of an investigation, a 50-year old Oakville resident was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
Later that day, officers responded to a collision in the area of Regional Road 25 and Lower Base Line in Milton. As a result of an investigation, a 27-year old St. Catharines resident was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
Remember, driving under the influence is considered a crime in progress. Call 9-1-1 immediately if you suspect someone of driving impaired.
