COVID-19: Another death in Halton, 17 new cases in Milton

Another Halton resident has died from COVID-19.

It’s believed to be a Burlington resident, giving the city 16 deaths from the virus. The person does not appear to have been from any long term care home or facility.

Halton now has 44 deaths total.

Across Halton, there are 57 new cases. The Region is up to 2827 total cases. With 2297 resolved cases and 44 deaths, Halton now has 486 active cases.

In Milton, there are 17 new cases. There are 702 total cases. We have 564 had resolved cases and four deaths. We also have 134 active cases.
