Emergency services attended a transformer fire at Scott Boulevard and Main Street in Milton yesterday morning.
Early reports from the Halton Police say that wires were down on the road.
Officers are responding to a hydro transformer fire at Scott Bl./Main St. in Milton. WIRES DOWN ON ROAD. Fire Dept. also responding. Intersection to be closed. Update(s) to follow. ^PD

The Halton Police later said that that was not the case on the scene.
UPDATE: Transformer Fire @ Scott/Main. Fire is out. No wires were down, intersection is open. Officers monitoring. Hydro has been advised. ^PD

The fire was put out. There were no reports of any injuries.
