The Town of Milton is asking residents to be careful with fireworks during Diwali celebrations.
It will be celebrated on Saturday, November 14th.
In the lead up to the day, the Milton Fire Department is urging you to take precautions with family fireworks or informal neighbourhood displays.
Remember that public spaces, such as parks and streets, are prohibited from fireworks. Residents must get a firework permit before setting them off. You will need to meet requirements such as minimum lot line distances and other safety factors demonstrating that the display will be held a safe manner. Sparklers are not considered fireworks, but must be used with extreme caution.
