The Halton Police is reporting that someone stole a poppy donation box in Oakville.
The male suspect went into the Tim Hortons in the area of Trafalgar Road and Postridge Drive on Monday, November 9th.
Staff members were reportedly handling customers when the man reached over the counter, grabbed the box, and left the store. It’s believed that he left the area on foot.
The suspect is described by the Halton Police as “male, wearing a red toque, camouflage pants, a black hoodie with a white symbol on the front and back, and black shoes. He had a black and white handkerchief covering his face and was carrying a black ‘gym style’ bag.” More photos of the suspect are available below.
