An Oakville man is facing charges after being caught trespassing and breaking into a storage facility.
At roughly 1:20 a.m. on Wednesday, October 28th, the Halton Regional Police Service was contacted by a citizen. They had seen a man on security footage spray painting the lenses of several surveillance cameras in the area of Sherwood Heights Drive and Will Scarlett Drive in Oakville.
Police responded to the area and were able to locate and arrest the suspect. The HRPS says that an investigation revealed that the suspect was responsible for a break in to a storage facility in the area.
46-year old Vito Ferrari is facing the following charges:
- Break and Enter – Commit
- Mischief Under $5000 (4 counts)
- Trespassing at Night
- Disguise with Intent
- Fail to Comply with Release Order (4 counts)
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order (4 counts)
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
