The Halton Agricultural Society is holding a 50/50 Draw.
It’s to raise funds after the Milton Fall Fair was cancelled.
First Vice-President of the Society, Keith Wettlaufer, says another group’s success has him crossing his fingers.
Wettlaufer says he’s not expecting to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars.
He’d be happy with $25,000 by the end of the month – anything more would be a happy bonus.
With COVID-19, a lot of local events had to be cancelled or adapted to online participation only. Wettlaufer says that has made it hard for the Milton Agricultural Society to raise funds this year.
The 50/50 Draw closes on October 30th, at roughly 7:30 – 8:00 p.m.. A winner will be chosen that night.
