The Ontario SPCA and Humane Society has released a new ‘Animals in War’ collectible pin.
Chief of Humane Programs and Community Outreach, Daryl Vaillancourt, says the pin is meant to honour the animals who served during military conflicts and not take anything away from the Poppy.
He says the public has really responded well to the pins since the concept was introduced in 2017.
Vaillancourt adds that $2.50 from each pin sold will be donated to Royal Canadian Legion branches across Ontario.
