A handgun was seized during a traffic stop in Milton.
The stop happened at roughly 4:00 a.m. on Thursday morning. Officers had noticed a suspicious vehicle at a park near James Snow Parkway and Main Street in Milton.
20-year old Justin Garcia-Reeleder of Toronto is facing a list of gun-related charges:
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of a Prohibited Firearm
- Careless Use of a Firearm
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in a Motor Vehicle
- Possess a Firearm Knowing the Serial Number has been Tampered/Defaced
- Possess Cannabis Over 30 grams
- Assault with Intent to Resist Arrest
He was held pending a bail hearing.
