The Town of Milton is starting their fall maintenance.
That includes catch basin (also known as storm sewer drains) cleaning, street sweeping, and culvert maintenance. Over 700 catch basins in Milton are cleaned as part of this maintenance.
The Town says road surface treatment has been delayed to next year due to COVID-19.
You can help by:
- Removing any leaves, branches and sticks from the catch basin area
- Parking away from catch basin openings
- Raking and removing leaves in your yard and around your gutter
- Properly disposing your leaves as yard waste
- Keeping boulevards and roads clear of basketball/sports equipment
- Parking your vehicle elsewhere when street sweepers are in your area
