The Halton Region has updated its COVID-19 statistics for Thursday, October 8th.
Across Halton, there are now 1461 total cases. That is an increase for 39-cases. There have been 1268 recoveries and 27 deaths. That puts Halton at 166 active cases.
In Milton, we have had 361 total cases. That is seven more than yesterday. There have been 321 recoveries and four deaths. That means we have 36 active cases.
Burlington had the bulk of new cases today, with 15. Oakville was close behind with 12. Halton Hills had five.
