A vehicle in Oakville is an example of what not to do with lumber.
The Halton Police tweeted a picture of a black Nissan Altima with lumber hanging nearly two metres out of the trunk.
The wood was also tied together using a bedsheet.
The driver was ticketed.

1: any load overhanging the rear of the vehicle by +1.5 meters requires a red light at the end of the load at night (red flag during the day).
2: A FLORAL BED SHEET IS NOT A PROPER MEANS OF LOAD SECUREMENT.
