A Milton-resident is looking to make it big in the music world.
Khitkhat has signed with the record label INTERNATIONAL MONEY GETTERS. He says he is also managed by YDM mgmt.
His real name is Likhit Kumar Donthula, and he’s 17-years old and attends Milton District High School.
Donthula talks about how he got started with his music.
The music world has developed into a unique place. Artists are now gaining fame from Soundcloud, Spotify, and more recently, Tik Tok. COVID or not, gone are the days of performing in dive bars, cutting your dues to get the big record deal. Now, you’re more likely get clicks and likes from hundreds of thousands of listeners in the matter of seconds.
Khit talks about who currently inspires him.
When discussing Drake, Donthula says he wants to be that next big Canadian name. He says he’d like to be the face of Canadian music; the name that people think of when they talk about the music industry in Canada. He’d also like to be in a position tell help out younger musicians and artists.
Khit knows that at 17, he still has a long way to go with his music career – especially to meet some of his lofty goals. He’s thinking about attending University to get a Business-degree, but he’s focused on the unique school year ahead of him.
