August ended on a cooler note for most of Ontario.
However, the stats for the entire month ranked around average.
With Environment Canada releasing its monthly weather review, Meteorologist Gerald Cheng says the heat in July heightened a lot of our expectations.
For temperature, Cheng says August was pretty much in-line with where it usually is.
He adds that early projections for September indicate it will also be near normal in terms of temperature.
Cheng says there is the possibility of wetter than usual conditions during this early part of the month.
