
The Halton Regional Police Service has released its list of impaired drivers for the dates between Friday, August 28th and, Saturday August 29th.
There were five-cases in the region in that two-day span, two involved Milton.
Just before 2:00 a.m. on August 29th, the Halton Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Campbell Avenue and Main Street North in Milton where they charged a 24-year old Milton man with impaired driving.
On that same day, just after 2:30 p.m., the Halton Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of James Street and Main Street East in Milton where they charged a 23-year old from Milton.
The Halton Police reminds the public that driving under the influence is a crime in progress and to call 9-1-1 if they suspect someone is driving impaired.
It adds that its officers remain committed to road safety through prevention, education, and enforcement initiatives.
