A 45-year old man is in a Hamilton trauma center following a motor vehicle collision on Milton’s Main Street near Martin Street.
The collision happened at roughly 3:55 p.m. Friday afternoon. The man was a pedestrian and suffered a serious head injury. The driver of the vehicle is a 24-year old female Milton resident. She remained on scene and assisted in the investigation.
The Halton Police says that due to the nature of the injuries, the Collision Reconstruction Unit has assumed responsibility for the investigation. Initial information would suggest that the vehicle was westbound on Main Street, west of Martin Street where the collision occurred.
Any witnesses, who have not yet spoken to police, are urged to call (905) 825-4747 extension 5065 and speak with investigators. Anyone who may have dash cam footage and was in the area around the time of the collision is also urged to contact investigators.
