Ryan Egger and his family are well known dairy farmers in Milton, but that isn’t everything that they do. Egger has diversified the farm which includes cash cropping and recently started a chicken broiler operation. He says that it’s easy for him to love farming because at the core it’s providing food for people. While there is a misconceptions of farmers and how they treat animals he says that a majority of farmers in Ontario love their animals and treat them with the utmost respect.
