The cost of widening Thompson road will exceed $10 million.
That was the biggest purchase item that Milton Town Council approved during their latest meeting.
The expansion will be from Louis St. Laurent Avenue to Britannia Road.
Council also approved buying road salt for two years for $1.2 million.
Another approval was the proposal reward to Canada Clean Fuels for the supply and delivery of gas and diesel for a six and a half year period for $448,000.
