The Milton Family Fun Run is taking place over the weekend and this year is a little bit different.
The Roach Family Real Estate team has hosted the Milton Family Fun Run for the last seven years.
In light of the current pandemic, they have decided to make a slight shift. This year, the recipient of the event will be the Milton community and small businesses according to Lisa Roach.
Roach says the change has energized her.
On race day, a list of destinations around town will be posted on the event site. At each checkpoint, participants will be required to perform an activity and take a photo or video and post on social media with select hashtags.
The run will be free for participants.
Winners will be entered into different prize pools based on the number of checkpoints they complete. There will be lots of chances to win regardless of how many you complete. But, the more checkpoints and social media posts, the more chances to win prizes!
The event will take place on Saturday, August 15th and Sunday, August 16th, offering participants the opportunity to complete the race requirements at their convenience.
