
Sustainable Milton has elected their new Board of Directors.
Sustainable Milton is a community-led organization. They are dedicated to fighting against the impacts of climate change.
Last week, the group held its inaugural meeting.
More than 35-people attended the Zoom meeting, which passed bylaws and elected a full slate of Directors to operate the organization.
The Chair of Sustainable Milton, Marsha Smith, says she’s excited about the group.
She adds that the group is diverse and experienced.
For the next steps, Smith is hoping that they get more work done with Milton.
