
The Halton Police have released their list of impaired drivers for the dates between Friday, July 24th and Monday, July 27th.
During that four-day span, there were nine cases in the region, three involved Milton.
Just before 2:30 a.m. on July 25th, the Halton Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Martin Street and Steeles Avenue in Milton where they charged a 25-year old Miltonian with impaired driving.
Just before 5:30 p.m. on that same day, the Halton Police responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Coxe Boulevard and Coulson Avenue in Milton where they charged a 29-year old Milton woman with impaired driving.
Just before 11:30 a.m. on July 26th, the Halton Police were conducting a R.I.D.E initiative in the area of Tremaine Road and Steeles Avenue East when they charged a 20-year old from Barrie.
The Halton Police remind the public that driving under the influence is a crime in progress and to call 9-1-1 if you suspect someone is driving impaired.
They add that they are committed to road safety through prevention, education, and enforcement initiatives.
