Two arrests have been made in a Burlington drug bust.
The Halton Regional Police Service arrested a male and a female in relation to a prescription drug trafficking investigation in Burlington which began in July, 2020.
A search warrant was executed on a Burlington home on Thursday, July 30th. Investigators with the assistance of the Tactical Rescue Unit and K9 located and seized approximately $1200.00 worth of prescription drugs; as well as 32 grams of marijuana that was packaged for distribution (photo attached).
27-year old Scott Ross of Burlington has been charged with:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Nabilone);
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Codeine);
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Alprozolam);
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Quetiapine);
- Selling Prescription Drugs – Not Authorized (Risperidone) – (Food & Drug Act);
- Possession for the Purpose of Distribution (Cannabis Act).
37-year old Crystal McMullen from Burlington has been charged with:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Nabilone);
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Zopiclone);
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Quetiapine);
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Olanzapine);
- Selling Prescription Drugs – Not Authorized (Risperidone) – (Food & Drug Act);
- Selling Prescription Drugs – Not Authorized (Bupropion Hydrochloride) – (Food & Drug Act).
Both parties were released on an undertaking.
