A celebration of EID will be taking place in Milton on Friday, July 31st.
Due to the provincial orders put in place that limits indoor capacities to 50, The Town has moved the community celebrations of EID to some of our outdoor parks.
These events are permitted and will be following Public Health Guidelines and Provincial Emergency Orders.
This community event will be the first large outdoor event that is occurring since we have moved into Stage 3 of recovery.
The EID celebrations will occur in seven park sites throughout Milton.
- Optimist Park (cricket pitch)
- Sherwood Park (cricket pitch)
- Clark Park South
- Coates Park
- Ford Park
- Scott Park West
- Lions #2 diamond
Prayer sessions will run from 7:00 a.m. to noon, in rotations of up to 100 people at a time up, every 75 minutes, with about 40 minutes in between each rotation to allow time for those to leave before new attendees arrive.
