Is it a little late to work on your summer bod?
With the move to Stage Three, gyms and athletic facilities reopened to the public.
myFM spoke with the National Operations Manager for Goodlife Fitness, Carlton Braithwaite.
He discusses how reopening has been for their gyms.
Braithwaite adds that it’s been an adjustment with making sure the gyms are as clean as possible.
He says that when it comes to following health guidelines, it’s been an ever changing and dynamic environment.
How have the gyms taken to cleaning their facilities in the midst of a pandemic?
Are you returning to the gym now that we’re in Stage 3?
Brathwaite says people have started flocking to their gyms
Brathwaite adds that booking in advance isn’t a mandatory part of working out at Goodlife.
He says walk-ins will be available from time-to-time to allow for people just wanting to get a quick run in.
With Milton passing mandatory mask bylaws, Brathwaite covers if a wearing a mask at the gym is mandatory.
Brathwaite adds that you can always check online to see if your local Goodlife gym requires wearing a mask.
If you do wear a mask while exercising, make sure to lower the intensity of your workout.
He ends with a positive message.
