It’s starting to look a lot like summer.
Now that we’ve entered Stage Three, Milton’s playgrounds have reopened.
The Town Councillor for Ward 4, Sameera Ali, invites families to enjoy the playgrounds but encourages mindfulness while doing so.
She reminds residents to bring their own water bottles and make sure plastic ones are properly disposed of at the end of their visit.
Until now, the Town was having some trouble keeping residents off the play structures.
Councillor Ali is happy to see we’re moving forward.
She says she is waiting to hear an update from Town staff on reopening fields and allowing sports to start back up.
The opening will be gradual as the Town works on making sure all sanitary procedures have been put in place.
With everything still being so new, plans are unrolling and evolving frequently.
