The Milton Youth Task Force is accepting applications for annual memberships for their new year.
Any Milton youth between the ages of 13 and 18 can apply.
The Community Development Advisor of the Milton Youth Task Force, Andrea Beebe, tells us what they look for in an applicant.
Application forms are due on Friday, August 14th.
Beebe says they do have returning members and are looking to have around 30 youth in the task force.
They are hoping to be able to let applicants know if they will be joining the task force by early September with meetings expected to begin around early October.
Beebe says each member has to be able to commit to a two-hour meeting once a month. She explains.
Beebe says the task force is something she wishes she could have been involved in as a youth. She shares what she thinks makes youth want to join.
