
The Halton Police have launched an investigation after the words ‘White Pride’ were found on a billboard sign outside of an Oakville church.
It’s alleged that the sign at the Salvation Army Community Church on Rebecca Street was found damaged on Sunday afternoon with the message left behind.

Halton Police Chief Stephen Tanner did not mince words when discussing the case on Twitter.
Absolutely councillor.This is clearly a rascist https://t.co/TaHyZ3g7dA may not technically meet the definition of “hate crime” in the criminal code but we will pursue those responsible in anyway we can.Quite simply this WRONG. There is NO place for this in our community or world

The Halton Police say the investigation is ongoing.
