The Canadian Mental Health Association has shared research Canadian’s mental health during COVID-19.
Their data shows that 46% of Canadians are experiencing anxiety or worry due to the pandemic.
- 1 in 10 or 12% of people are worried about being safe from physical or emotional domestic abuse;
- 1 in 6 Indigenous peoples have reported having suicidal thoughts since COVID-19;
- 1 in 4 parents say their children’s mental health has been worse since the pandemic began.
