A church in Oakville was vandalized on Monday.
The Halton Police are investigating a monument in the cemetery at St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Orthodox Church. They determined that it was vandalized with spray paint sometime between Friday June 19th and Sunday June 21st.
The graffiti is being investigated as a hate crime.
They are appealing to the public to come forward with any information that would assist the Halton Police in determining the person(s) responsible. Anyone with information is asked to contact investigators at 905-825-4747 ext. 2216 or the on-duty 2 District Staff Sergeant at 905-825-4747 ext. 2210.
