The latest novel coronavirus statistics are in for Halton and Milton.
In the last 24-hours, Milton has seen one new confirmed positive case, bringing the total number to 188 cases since the outbreak began. There have been 177 recoveries and four deaths. With the 19 probable cases, that brings Milton’s active case number to 26, equal to yesterday’s total.
However, across Halton, we have seen two confirmed cases get taken off of the total amount, which is now 710. The last time this happened, it was because a case had been misreported as a Halton resident, and therefore, there was a correction in the total. There have been 682 recoveries across the region and now 24 deaths. With the 79 probable cases, Halton is now at 83 active cases, ten less than yesterday.
