There will be a special Milton Town Council meeting this week.
On Wednesday, Town Council will discuss extending patios for local businesses.
The report that has been sent to Council has two sections.
First, this report seeks to obtain Council support of a proposed program to authorize the establishment of new or expanded outdoor patios on a temporary basis, in response to the easing of restrictions by the Province.
Second, it seeks to ensure that any barriers requiring Council approval or endorsement are addressed to speed up the temporary outdoor patio approvals process.
The meeting will take place during a zoom call at 2 p.m.
