When it comes to weed in Ontario the Province says they want to make sure that families are safe and the illegal market is curbed.
Currently, there are four applications in Milton for Cannabis Stores.
Milton MPP Parm Gill reiterates the goal of the Province.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, there was some concern that there could be a delay in processing the applications.
However, MPP Gill says that hasn’t been the case.
Finally, locally, he says that he hasn’t heard any concerns from people around town about the shops.
Cannabis became legal in Canada in October of 2018.
