On Friday, we will begin to see a lot of the province enter stage two of reopening amidst COVID-19.
St. Paul’s United Church is taking a wait and see approach as they navigate how to reopen.
Reverend Dale Skinner says there is a lot to consider with opening their doors and they will be careful.
Provincially, places of worship are expected to only allow an attendance amount of 30% of their capacity.
Reverend Skinner mulls over what that could look like.
He says that he is waiting to receive clarity on whether or not the reopening regulations for places of worship apply to Halton churches as Halton is not scheduled to enter phase two yet.
Skinner says that he is conflicted about reopening.
Reverend Skinner adds that he wants to make sure that no one has to worry about being turned away if they come to church because of attendance regulations.
