It was confirmed that yesterday, the Education Minister of Ontario, Stephen Lecce, had come into contact with someone who had tested positive for the novel coronavirus. He has since tested negative.
Due to Minister Lecce being a part of Premier Doug Ford’s daily press conference on Tuesday, June 9th, the Premier, along with Minister Christine Elliot, will be getting tested today.
Both will be monitoring their symptoms and will take appropriate action if necessary.
An announcement will be made once a result has been finalized.
